On the road again!

We had a great week last week and this week has started out good too. We are still in the middle of a very messy house with our kitchen project and needless to say, the internet people didn't show when they were supposed too, so I'm taking advantage of internet time while in Natchez at my parent's house.

Brian is on fall break this week so we have been all over the place. We went to Lexington, KY, over the weekend to visit friends, came back to Ripley last night, left for Natchez Tuesday morning, and will be going to Houston to see Brian's family on Friday. All I can say is Thank God (and Dan and Nicki for telling us about) for "Praise Babies" and for the invention of car DVD players! What a lifesaver! Olivia has done suprisingly well being in the car the past few days, but we could tell on the way down to Natchez she had just about reached her max. Brian and I have decided that our goal for this week is to figure out how to turn her carseat facing forward since she will be a year old in less than a month. We know we are jumping the gun by a few weeks, but sometimes sanity comes before safety! Just Kidding, but we really think she's ready, so we are going to try to figure it out. That should be interesting since neither of us have ever really been able to figure the thing out. Each time we've had to adjust the car seat we've had to get someone to help us with it, so we figured we would do it in Natchez in the event that we needed some help. I'll be sure to take some pictures and post them once we get the car seat situated. From what I hear, most children are fascinated with the view once the car seat is facing forward, so we'll see if the same holds true for Olivia.
